At the Inn

hang. drink. play. relax.

Come unwind with us. Take a nap in a hammock and a dip in the creek. Have a beer with a game of bocce in the meadow.  Relax and remember what it’s like to see a sky full of stars. Enjoy a real-deal, country getaway.

Room One: Front desk & BAR

Welcome to Room One our Front Desk & Bar where we serve beer, wine, cider, whiskey, simple cocktails, and snacks like soups and sandwiches. (Plus coffee in the morning!) You can also shop seasonally variable goodies to whip up something delicious in your kitchenette or at the BBQs, or take with you on a hike. Think organic beef patties, oatmeal and local maple syrup,  locally made beef jerky and granola bars...

HOURS: FRI 4pm-11pm / SAT 12pm-11pm /  SUN-THUR 4-7pm for overnight guests of the Inn only.

FIRE PITS and bbqs

There are five fire pits dotted around the eight acre property for your enjoyment. You've got complimentary wood stacked outside your room. Ask Room One for kindling and/or fire making tips, order some s'mores supplies, then go out and enjoy the plethora of stars. There are also five charcoal Weber grills you're welcome to use any time ya like! We've got grill tools in Room One and charcoal and lighter fluid available for purchase.

In the meadow

Sunbathe, stroll, set up camp in our hammock, take a whirl on the swing, or ask Room One for our horseshoe, bocce, or croquet sets. Feel free to bring your own frisbees, picnic blankets, and stacks of old New Yorkers you're still catching up on...

down by the creek

Go ahead, take a dip in the fresh mountain water. You're welcome to bring your own tubes and hang alllllll day. Or bring a rod and go fly fishing! Want a lesson? Contact local legend Judd Weisberg or talented newcomer Todd Spire of Espous Creel!

Built in the 1860s with hand hewn hemlock beams and no-nail construction, we've been restoring it bit by bit since purchasing the property six years ago and just finished the process last summer! What was once a home for dairy cows and goats is now a place for workshops, retreats, weddings, art shows, pop-up dinners and more. You can see a calendar of our upcoming events here and details about weddings for 2020 here.
